Dreams reflect your sub-conscious mind. If you are too much obsessed with negative thoughts you get to see in dreams which further worsens your will power to do positive things. For countering such mental operations which are per se self-damaging you should concentrate in reading certain spiritual books, according to your faith. In case you do not believe in your own religion, please start reading The Bhagvad Gita by Yogananda Saraswati or Essays on Geeta by Sri Aurobindo.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had dreams like that before and nothing bad happened. Snakes would be all over the place, but in the dream for some reason, it seemed normal. Gross and repulsive, but normal. Everyone was just going about their normal business, including me, and snakes were hanging from trees, all over the ground, almost like in that scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" but as long as I didn't bother them, they wouldn't bother me.
And nothing ever happened after I had the dream. I've had this same dream about 4 times in the last 7 years, or so.

No I think that a snake is a snake. If you hate the things then it's just your mind reinforcing that. I have dreams about snakes, and I am a Christian, and I try to lead a faithful Christian life.

if you hate the creature so much that may be why you dream about it! i dont think it is 'bad omen' i just think that since you scared of the critter it increasesyour chance to dream about it. i understand what you mean because my sister has a thing called night terrors. she dreams about spiders in her bed and somtimes snakes and roaches.... the things she is terrified of!! be carful because if you have night terrors, they can be dangerously real! my siter thought she was fighting in her drem but when you woke up she had glass in her foot and a bruise on here leg!

In psychology i learned that dreams are basically all the leftovers your brain doesn't know how to process. Think of your brain as a big closet, with little shoeboxes to put all the information into of your day. That's what you do when you sleep; you go over your entire day in your head and your mind categorizes everything and stores it away. When it finds something familiar, it puts it in a box. Whatever is leftover is what you dream about! ^_^

It depends what those snakes were doing. Were they with raised hoods, trying to spit venom? This means you have to be careful about your enemies.
Were they intertwined? This will mean suppressed sexual desires.
Were they around your body? This means you will get enormous power to complete the jobs at hand.

I heard that dreaming about snakes means u have enemies in this world, and you should be careful. Some say Satan comes in the form of snake, but i believe that it means enemies, and not Satan.

I think snakes in dreams are suppose to represent the male penis. Maybe you are dreaming that you have a lot of penis'. Could be a subliminal thing. Ha.
