That is not true!!!!!!!!!

Watch out!
You know how they list the serving size?
For example, 1 pickle. If the serving size they list has less than 5 calories they can legally write that they have NO calories, but that is not true! Nothing but water REALLY has no calories.
Watch out not to get thrown off track by those lies!

Plus, the sodium in pickles will get you really bloated, not to mention it's unhealthy. You'll be MUCH better of with cucumbers. Or any other vegetable in fact.

Sweet Pickles Calories

I'm not 100 percent sure, but I don't think eating pickles will make you gain any weight. Only sweet pickles might do this. If the label says 0 calories, then eat all you want. But like everyone else said, be sure you don't need to be on a low sodium diet. One pickle containes much more salt than you should have in a day. However I crave salt and don't care. I love dill pickles and will eat all I want. If you don't oversalt the rest of your food go ahead and eat as many as you want. I never heard of eating pickles killing anyone. But if you have high blood pressure or other health problems, ask your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry.

I would suggest celery as a 'sinless snack' rather than pickles. Pickles have huge amounts of sodium, but they are perfectly fine in moderation, and assuming you dont load all your other food with salt.
Celery is eaten fresh and retains more nutrients than pickles, but still has effectively negative calories (due to the energy expended during digestion).
Is your diet recommended by a health professional? If so they should have talked to you about the importance of getting the proper nutrition within your 1200 calorie limits.
If this diet is something that you came up with on your own, it would be best to talk to a nutritionist or doctor about it. They can often tell you the best way to reach a healthy weight while helping your body to thrive.

What brand of pickles has zero calories??

I don't know if I would trust their claim on the calorie part, but yes, pickles are healthy for you...to a point. You need to take in consideration for the other stuff in them though...lots and lots of sodium. You need to limit your sodium intake, so pickles, while a great snack, are high in sodium (unless you got ones that are low sodium). I would probably eat a serving a day, whatever that is, then follow it with lots of water to weaken the sodium intake.

no... that doesn't mean you can eat as many pickles as you want. too much of anything in any kind of diet is incredibly bad for you. and i dont sudjest fasting or eating gum even tho gum is only like 5-10 calories for a stick. Those calories add up. chew 5 pieces of gum, and you have 25 cals or 50 cals. in empty calories. You might as well eat something nutrious then eating alot of empty calories.

MMMM good idea. I'm starving. A no calorie pickle sounds great. Zero calories is zero calories, eat away. I'm off to the store. Thanks.

Yeah, that pickle was so good and you were right; zero calories and only one gram of carbohydrates. Bad side: 390mg of sodium.

You can....but then you have to look at everything else they have in it. Sodium is no good in large quanities. So you wont be adding calories, but you'll be adding other things in like excess salt and carbohydrates.
If you can help it, stick to a few a day.

Yes, as long as they don't upset your stomach. Pickles can be a little tough to digest, so don't overdo it, but the only pickles that have any real caloric value are sweet pickles.
