there are pros and cons on fasting...personally, I think any diet is the wrong approach to weight loss or even body cleansing. Fiber is the probably the best way to cleanse the body along with plenty of fresh water. Learn what your body weight should be...learn all you can about good nutrition, concentrate on your food when you chew it, and it will assimilate into your body as it should.

While water is important to your body, drinking too much of it can actually make you sick. And fasting by drinking nothing but water will really make you sick.
Your body needs the calories to survive. If you drink nothing but water for a few days, and eat nothing, you lose out on important nutrients that help your body survive. Your body will actually go into a starvation mode where it will store whatever it can in the system, even fat.
By drinking nothing but water, you are actually wasting away vitamins, and electrolytes that are important. Have you ever heard of people dying from too much water? It's true. It's because they don't replace the needed sodium in your body, as well as electrolytes and vitamins. It's a rare thing to happen, but it happens.

I definitely recommend it. I did it for almost 3 days for the same reasons - 'toxic' Christmas indulgence had left me feeling crappy all over and i felt the need to do something to detox.
Anyway, it worked a charm. My skin cleared up and, apologies for the grosse details but, my bowels returned to their normal efficient functioning pattern.
What's more once i returned to eating again i had some chocolate and was completely repulsed by it. My body didn't crave it and was not at all impressed with me shoving it in my mouth! As an incurable chocoholic i was mightily impressed:) That was 2 weeks ago and i still havent eaten anything shitty since the initial chocolate turn-off and i feel great and balanced.

why cleanse with only water. why not cleanse and still be able to get nutrition to support the body. I have found an all natural FULL body cleanse that allows me to cleanse and still get nutrition. This is all natural and has NO harse stimulants.
If you would like to know more please email me directly at bignlild@msn.com
I have never felt better than since introducing this technic.

I do not recommend it. You will wind up in starvation mode and it is dangerous. If you survive it, you will lower your metabolism and will gain fat.
Your body needs carbs for brain and kidney function.
It also needs protein for enzymes and maintenance of internal organs.
