For at least 4 weeks, cut down calories and do HIIT. After the first week, your body will get used to the calorie deficiency and it'll be easier to keep up from there. Eating right is easy, we all know how to do it, the hard part is just doing it. With exercise, there's a lot of different types but I believe HIIT is best for cutting fat (and that's all that matters).
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training. Involves changing pace during an exercise from low intensity to high intensity. An example program - go to a track and jog the first 1/4 mile (full length of track). Then when you reach the starting point again, start sprinting on the straightaways and jogging on the turns. Do this for as long as you can. It will be very difficult. Work up your endurance by repeating it and you'll be able to make a few laps before passing out. Keep it up and you'll be burning lots of fat. Coupled with a diet, you'll cruise to weight loss.

When I feel like i need to shed off some pounds I do phase 1 of the south beach diet. Although most of the weight I lose is just water weight, it's still a good 10 pounds and I feel much better. And if you want to continue eating healthy and losing weight you can continue.
You can find more information on www.southbeachdiet.com
But, here are some of the foods I mainly eat during the two weeks.
Breakfast: eggs, canadian bacon, turkey bacon, omlette with veggies and cheese
Lunch: turkey pepperoni, cheese, chicken salad, tuna fish, vegetable soup (no potatoes or noodles), veggies/ cucumers, celery, green peppers, red peppers, cauliflower, lettuce and tomatoes and low fat lunch meat
Dinner: turkey and chicken breast (no skin), red meat (steak, pork, lean ground beef, boiled ham ), all types of seafood, cooked vegetables (broccoli and cheese), salads with lite italian, or oil/vinegar dressing..)
Snacks: nuts (20 a day) such as almonds, cashews, or macadamia nuts, sugar-free jello with free coolwhip, low fat cheeses
you can use lite mayo
*Also you can have sugar-free fudge pops and sugar-free hard candy.
You can eat:
1 breakfast
1 lunch
1 dinner
2 snacks
.. A day
Example:
Breakfast: 2 eggs and 2 pieces of Canadian bacon
Lunch: tuna fish(cup), turkey pepperoni with cheese and sliced cucumbers
Snack: 20 peanuts
Dinner: salad, chicken breast, cooked veggie
Hope this can possibly help you! =)

You can lose weight by adding cardio exercise (anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour) and strength training with hand weights. Walk/jog almost everyday but not to where you are wearing yourself out and lift weights ever other day. Another thing that is helpful is The South Beach diet (not longterm), it helps you by taking you through different phases, Phase One is the toughest: eliminating starches and sugar for up to 2 weeks (can lose anywhere from 8-12 pounds). Then it takes you through to phase three where you finally add things back in, but breads or other starches are whole grain and you only eat sugar on certain occasions. I suggest buying the South Beach diet book or at least going to the library and reading it. Hope it helps, it did for me!

I lost 11 pounds and almost 14" in 9 days and have kept it off for almost a year plus 5 more pounds. My friend lost 65 pounds in 4 1/2 months. We used www.greatfit.isagenix.com. My other friends that have used this tell me that they tried all kinds of diets that didn't work for them - and then this helped them lose the weight and inches they wanted to lose. It works on the inside and shows up with lost pounds and inches on the outside. I also liked the fact that it had all natural ingredients. Hope that helps.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Walking. And if your old enough, sex. Keep in mind though that losing weight takes time in order to be effective in the long run. In other words, the quicker you lose the weight, the quicker you will regain it. So in order to avoid disapointment and failure which causes more disapointment, dont expect quick results.
