Ok, my friend is having a problem. shes a smart, athletic, and good looking 19 yr old. she hasnt had a bf for quite a while and she blames it on the fact that shes really quiet. i try to explain to her that she just looks uninterested in guys so they leave her alone but she continually puts herself down and says shes never going to find the right guy. so guys, is being shy really a turn off or does it just make that person difficult to approach? and what advice could i give her to help her be more open to ppl and get a bf?

I love shy girls, I find shy girls so much more sexy and delicate. However I am very shy too, so I have had dates gone bad because neither of us could talk to each other. So a date is much easier if the girl is a chatter box, then I don't appear shy.
But I really prefer really shy quiet girls. I always fell for them in high school. A girl can be not attractive at all, but if she is shy it always drives me crazy and that itself makes her attractive to me, just being shy itself I think makes a girl so sexy. One of my favorite songs is that one song "she is too shy shy".

the thing with shy girls is they take a little longer to open up and become comfortable with you and that can become frustrating
but once they do omg its amazing, its great
she just needs to find somone whos gonna be patient
you could help by 'advertising' for her ask her if she likes anyone and put in a good word for her hint ot hte guy thats shes interested
she basically just needs someone to know shes there, thats why you can help by being out there for her

well to tell the truth i like shy girls they are much more sexy and apealing to me the the loud in-your-face girl is she needs to talk to a guy she can talk to me im 19 too

its a combination of being shy and showing no interest, all you can do is ask her to smile, ask questions, and act interested if she finds someone attractive
