My nephew, who is now 10 years old, was "supposed" to have been a girl. They were told by 2 different ultrasound techs that he was a girl. During labor, some problems arose and my sister-in-law needed to have an emergency C-section. They performed a 3rd ultrasound and that tech told them that their "son" was in distress and they corrected her and said it was a daughter. The tech said it was definitely a boy. So, Elizabeth turned out to be Jacob and all the little pink dresses had to go back to the store!

Yes, my sister was told she was having a boy in the seychelles islands, and when she had another ultrasound in Australia she was told she was having a girl. She did have a girl. Sonographers will tell you that its not 100% accurate. I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my first child and have been told its a girl. I have purchased some neutral colours just to be sure but I mostly have the girly things.

A babys heartbeat can no longer ensure the gender until eventually you're in labour. And its up interior the air as to climate its an previous different halves tale or no longer. experienced midwives have instructed that for the period of a womens previous couple of cm of dialation in labour they are able to tell the gender of the toddler by ability of its coronary heart fee. the tale is going that a heartbeat under 140bpm is a woman and a heartbeat over 150bpm is a boy. My sons heartbeat at 8 weeks of being pregnant replaced into 130bpm. At 18 weeks it replaced into 152bpm And at 31 weeks it replaced into 160bpm.

Not yet. But i only have one. Ultrasounds are very accurate nowadays. One of my friends and my neighbor had babies at the same time I did (my friends is 4 days older than mine and my neighbors is 5 weeks younger). Their ultrasounds were both accurate too.

I haven't ever wanted to know the gender of my babies until birth but my cousin was told they were DEFINATELY having a boy so they went out and bought all boy stuff...painted the nursery blue etc etc. and it turned out to be a girl! Not that they were disappointed as she was healthy but it was a pain in the butt for them. Which is one of the reasons I like to wait til they are born. No mistakes and a great surprise at the end!

My mom, aunt and grandma did. But that was more than 18 years ago for all. Ultrasounds are much more clearer and accurate now a days.

Hunter was supposedly a girl. He, like a friend of ours, had been very shy in utero and had pretty much covered his privates with his hands the entire time.
