My son just turned 19, he recently disclosed his newest girlfriend to us. One problem, she is 19. Her daddy is a cop and has VERY old fashioned values regarding his daughter. I expressed concern in the event their might be a sexual relationship since my son has been very sexual with his past girlfreinds. Anyhow, my son who is a GREAT actor, for real as he is in drama, told me her family REALLY likes him. They just love him he states. Sure, the "actor" version. My son is a biut perverted like I suppose all 19 year old males are. I don't feel good about this as I know what her dad will do, WHEN, not if they have sex.

What are my options here?

Should I kick my son out of the house?

Should I stay out of it and just issue a warning?

Any advise on this is appreciated.

You need to explain to him how illegal this matter is. Love doesnt have a age but unprotected sex that leads to a pregnacy is illegal for a minor and a legal adult. Just remember, if anything happens, you as the parent cant help him even if the girl's parents cry rape!

Yes, definitely say something to your son out of protection. Remind him that if they get caught having sex he could go to jail, especially if her dad is a cop! Tell him not to risk his future with this girl, there are plenty more fish in the sea. And if he REALLY wants to date her, he needs to forget about sex until she is legal if he wants to stay out of trouble!

Kick your son out how can a mother do that to her son and for what being a normal kid. What ever you do don't interfere let it run it's course.Your son will have to learn on his own, if you raised him right and I'm sure you did he will no how far he can go.

As a parent you always have a responsibility to tell him that he is wrong... Since he is of age. That is really all you can do. Hopefully you raised him right to make the right decision. If it does not stop and it continues don't allow her in you house.

tell your son to date someone LEGAL or the cop-father could press charges!
she's not the ONLY girl in the world. There's plenty of legal ones!

yes, absolutely interfere. it doesn't matter if her family loves him now, as soon as he starts having sex with their baby girl, WHEN they find out, the dad WILL flip out and probably throw him in jail for statutory rape. no good...you NEED to get him out of that situation, because if he stays, he'll end up in trouble.

Yes you should walk in. If something goes wrong and she reports him your son is going to jail. I dont know what you should do but you need to walk in somehow
