Yes. I've lived in a haunted house, but the ghost wasn't mean or harmful. He actually liked playing jokes by hiding things and then returning them later. I know it sounds weird, and I really don't expect anyone to believe it, since you pretty much have to experience that kind of stuff for yourself before you're really going to believe it.

I have never seen a real ghost, but I'm pretty sure that I may have felt the presence of one. I do believe in ghosts, and in a way I want to see one.

Working the night shift at a nursing home for many years,I've seen some pretty weird stuff. Toilets flushing by themselves, bathroom call bells going off in a locked room,Tv's turning on when everyone is sleeping.
My friend would bring her dog in sometimes,he would always stop and growl at a certain room and wouldn't walk past it.Residents would insist we were just in their room talking to them when none of us had been there.Lots of strange things.
I never believed in spirits, ghosts, whatever before working there. Now I do.

I once lived in the same house as a ghost. She liked to move things around and sometimes hide things. I saw her on several occasions. I never considered that house to be haunted, she just couldn't or wouldn't go on.

I don`t know if their real ,I haven`t seen a ghost. As far as houses go I live in an older home and it creeks and groans .You can hear things in the walls.Squirrels or worse..Every one has had an experience that was unusual I`m sure.Like this one that happened to me.I went to bed one night I wasn`t living here then just visiting and I was laying with me eyes closed and waiting for sleep when I had a hard tap on the left shoulder.I jerked up and looked around and didn`t see any one, thinking my son-in-law was playing a trick on me I called his name,no one answered. This bedroom is up stairs and theres a metal stairway that winds up to it.I would have heard anyone going down. Then again I would have heard them come up.Now I swear I was awake but maybe I did doze off and dreamed it,I don`t know for certain but I don`t think so.That doesn`t mean that it couldn`t have a rational explanation. There are things still that don`t seem to have an explanation and that's okay with me,I love a mystery.

No, it is all just superstition.
The brain is geared towards interpretting input as faces or voices. It helped to err on the side of thinking something was there when someone hiding in the bushes was a threat. Unfortunately, that means that frequently, now, a trick of light can be interpretted as a face or a rusty hinge as a moan. When people are afraid, they are even more likely to see and hear such things, for the same reason.
