Cutting calories, baby! I didn't work out at all and I went from a size 12 (womens!) to a 4 (womens)!! You don't have to be as drastic as I was but I made sure that I only ate 1000 calories a day. You may only need to cut out 200-300.

Also try to make sure you're motivated...and don't listen to your aunt...water is extremely important to your system and can help you wash out bad stuff in your body. Also try to take in lots of fiber. Fiber is not only good for the digestive systemm in general but it can make sure you get food out of your system, which increases your motabilisom rate. It also decreases cramping when you get your period! :)

You may also want to talk to your doctor about having a thyroid problem. Thyroids can sometimes be the culprite of unexplained weight gain. Its not really dangerous, just annoying. :) Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi

You mention that you know all about exercise, so I won't bore you with talking about high intensity cardio. You have made no reference to what kind of food you eat, except that you don't eat a lot of food.

If your looking to lose a few pounds, then I would suggest following a raw food diet, consuming mostly fruit, with a large salad in the evening and maybe a handful of nuts and seeds.

Some people believe that if they don't eat a lot of food, then they will lose weight, actually what they lose is water and nothing else. When you limit the amounts of food that you consume, below the level that your body needs to function, then your body will go into what is known as starvation mode, and you will start holding fat as a safety measure against the perceived threat of starving to death.

Consuming your suggested quanity of calories from mainly fruits as mentioned above will enable you to obtain a better state of health, both mentally and physically (including losing those excess pounds!)

Hope this helps

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/caloriecalclb.html This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

drinking water does not lead to weight gain unless it is an extreme amount (like 3 gallons). one pound is 3500 calories and water has 0 calories unless it's flavored or something. a few ideas i have are...eat 1-2 snacks between each meal. this will make it so youre not so hungry at meal time...foods high in protein will make you feel full quicker also (peanut butter, nuts, etc)...i find it hard to be motivated to 'exercise' so i do things that keep me moving like clean, walk around outside, do exercises while i watch tv, dance...i hope a few of these help out.

Water is really good for you!!!!!!! NEVER skip meals, eat a little bit at a time, never over eat. Try not to eat anything after 6pm. you know already about exercising, well do that daily for at least 1 hour. keep a fitness journal to keep track of all the calories you eat and how much you exercise. It would help alot!! never eat junk food, on very rare times. when you are hungry eat salads. Try substituting everything low-fat, fat-free on your foods. A good way to start off your day is Kellogs Special K cereal with 2%skim milk and a piece of fruit, when you are on the go, good snacks are specil K cereal bars, or baby carrots, fruits, apple chips or yogurt. On lunch, eat a salad, lettuce and other veggies, Kraft fat-free shredded mozzarella cheese, and for the meat Tyson diced grilled chicken. Set yourself a goal and always tell yourself that you can do it. For your dinner, eat a little portion of anything that is low-fat, soup is really good for you. Well, I hope that helped and good luck. by the way, your calorie intake should be about 1300-1500 calories daily!

I recommend diet and exercise. But you must do this with a plan. You will not lower your weight making 30 abs daily, that's not exercise!. If you can try other options, try with special drugs (you must visit a doctor first). Some online pharmacies offer this kind of drugs for weight problems, check this site, but remember to visit a doctor first:

You may not eat a lot, but you have to consider what your eating. Stay with lots of fruits and veggies. Eat small portions and feel free to "pick" as long as is healthy natural foods. Water cleanses the body and actually gives you natural energy. Exercise comes in all fashions. If you don't like to exercise, then don't! Walk the dog, walk around the room when your on the phone, wash the car, mow the lawn, etc. If your busy.... you get natural exercise. GOOD LUCK :)

cutting down on juice drinks (or drinks with a lot of sugar) and your evening snack already helps! i also heard of this new 'diet' called: eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a joker. breakfast should be healthy and be the biggest mail your going to eat, and so forth but then making your portions smaller through out the day because you burn more calories in the morning. dont decrease your calorie intake too much, over the average day you take in around 3500 calories, if you decrease it to 2500 (which i am sure is already too much of a decreasement) it should help too. and try to resist the junk food!

i go for runs at 6 am, its tough and not fun, but it makes me feel ready to go again and its good excersice. try taking the stairs instead of the elevator too.

good luck :) (also girls in their teenage years are ment to have some extra weight, dont loose weight to please others, or to belong to a group)
