can some one help me with my computer?

can i download something in the internet so i could watch videos and music videos i dont know whats wrong with i just got the computer with window vista so can some help me

Suggest you do some reading on Vista before you accidentally mess up your computer.

I am going to assume you have a optical drive installed. Go here:http://www.videolan.org/ download and install. you need codec, and it has them.
