It's ''Purebred'', by the way.
Check local rescues & shelters, as Beagles are commonly owner-released, due to them not researching the breed, and realizing the Beagle was more than they bargained for.
If you buy from a breeder, it's going to be pricey. It's just the way things are.
A Beagle can cost anywhere from 100.00-800.00. If they don't have AKC registration, but are purebred they normally cost 100.00-200.00

Sorry i live in the wrong country! Just had to say i have a two year old beagle and have had her from a puppy. I found it very difficult to find a breeder and had to travel a distance to get her, Shes worth it though, even though she is hard work at times and needs lots of stimulation, my beagle, Roxy is great and i wouldnt swop her.

Any humane societies, local animal shelters will be glad to assist you with adoption. They have all kinds of dogs there.
Beagles included. Every 5 second in the USA a healthy dog is put down because of over breeding them. On every human child born in the USA, 45 cats and 15 dogs are born .
By adopting the dog from a shelter , you will save the life and get a devoted friend. By buying a dog from a breeder you will support "puppy millers" and eliminate the chance for a dog in the shelter for being adopted and loved. Thus sentencing him /her to death.

Pure "bread" ? Are you going to eat the thing? Maybe you want a dachshund instead - it's best served with mustard.
