I've never been in that situation but--usually if there is physical violence one time, the person is so sorry and then when things start to get back to normal it ends up happening again. This person should be protecting you--not hurting you. You deserve to be treated like gold. I would be weary of staying with this person just for your safety and also so you are not mentally scarred from this either. Good luck--he does not deserve you.

A person has its own nature since he is born, there not much you can do about it, but the only think you could do is control it. Everyone should deserve another chance, but, you should try staying away from him. If he can do it once, he can do it again! Sit down, and think about the consequences, the price you have to pay. Money can come bak, but if you loose your respect once, it is really hard to earn it back, specially Self-Respect!

Get rid of him. There is no excuse whatsoever for someone to hit you. You deserve better. If he has done it 2 times to you it is certain to happen again.
