It stops where you are. Every time you jump, you are jumping off the edge of the Earth. Only gravity always pulls you back.

It is like a ball with an ant crawling on it. The ant has a limited area to explore, but never comes to any end either. In the case of the ant, her (most ants are females you know) sticky feet keep her on the ball. On the Earth, gravity keeps you on it. Down is toward the center of the ball, not toward the south pole.

I'm not sure about the Jesus part, but earth will "stop" several yes in the future, when somthing like the sun exploding or some other type of end-of-the-world scenario of astronomical proportions will make the earth cease to be, there for "stopping"

if you're curious about the several ways earth might "stop" I could suggest you checking the Exit Mundi (google for it and you will likely find it) site, it has a collection of several theories of how the world will end (though some of the theories deal with the world ending just for the human civilization, without necessarily dealing with the end of earth

edit: I just realized something else about this, the eath stops either at ground level or at the edge of the atmosphere depending on what you're calling "earth"

The earth is a sphere (roughly), it doesn't have an end. It's a bit like a gigantic ball - you could go round and round it forever.

It will stop 1,000 years after Jesus Christ's return to Earth. When he returns, he will reign for 1,000 years. After that the world will be destroyed and he will create a new one.
