Alias,Suspect in crash that killed 2 had alcohol-related convictions
Ramos is a real piece of work:

Convicted for DUI
Convicted of public intoxication
He is in the country illegally
He has been convicted of identify theft
He has additional charges – driving without a license and having no insurance – that were withdrawn earlier this year
He was working in violation of immigration law
On Monday morning, Ramos, 22, was arraigned on the manslaughter charges in Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Ramos is scheduled to appear this morning in front of Juvenile and Domestic Relations Judge Deborah Rawls for a bond hearing.
He's not a juvenile. Is it common in Virginia for these types of cases to be handled by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Courts?

Ramos faces deportation if he's convicted, according to U.S. immigration laws.

To all of the pro amnesty people out there...what many of you are failing to notice is that many illegals (the ones that complain that our immigration laws are too harsh) are the ones that do things like this or have criminal records in their home country and we would deny them access anyway...and with d@*# good reason! Yes, there are legal citizens that are here that are also criminals, but we have our own to worry about without taking on more. As far as the illegals that "aren't criminals", guess what, they broke laws to enter illegally and they are still breaking laws by being here illegally...that makes them criminals. And as far as the argument that "they would get insurance and licenses if they could", why should we believe that, they didn't apply for immigration legally when they could.

i think like the full device needs a remodel. establishing the borders totally could be a disaster, yet something needs to happen to make *criminal* immigration elementary and obtainable. there is not any thank you to fullyyt supply up unlawful immigration, yet whilst human beings had a greater effective risk of arising it in the process the stairs to income citizenship, so lots greater might a minimum of attempt. i would not label myself "professional unlawful immigration," yet I do think of we would desire to evaluate the folk already in the rustic and how we can help them to become complete voters particularly than purely kick them out. i comprehend this would possibly not artwork for each immigrant, whether that is something that needs to happen.

Seems to be happening on a daily basis anymore. My step daughter lost a friend who was raped and stabbed to death by an illegal who was back in the country after being deported.
I can never understand why people defend them by saying that they don't have insurance because they aren't allowed to have a license...duh...that means they aren't supposed to be behind the wheel of a car in the first place. No license...no driving, why is that so hard to understand?
My heart goes out to these girls families.

xjoizey - I know what you're talking about. The illegal Mexican who killed Donnie Young worked at the Cherry Cricket, after the shooting he fled to Mexico, and it took a lot to extradite him because Mexico protected him. Listen to Peter Boyles ever?

I won't bother to read your source, but you have said it "pro AMNESTY" not "pro illegal." We support an immigration reform but oppose illegal immigration. An immigration reform is MANDATORY for a successful way out of the problem. This is not about what's right and what's wrong anymore, or about what you like or don't like. It's about getting rid of the problem in a comprehensive and intelligent way. Mass deportation is selfish and senseless. It will only make things way worse.

*YAWN* What's your point ? A drunk driver is a irresponsible idiot no matter what race, creed or color. My heart goes out to that family,I feel very sorry for what happened. I also have enough sense to know illegal immigrants are not responsible for all of the drunk-driving accidents in the USA either. BTW: Illegal immigration is not a good thing.

That man is ONE example of someone doing something stupid!

He did not have insurance because illegals are not allowed to obtain licenses, and in turn denied the chance to purchase insurance. If they could, they would!

What about the Una bomber, or the other non-illegal citizens that have committed atrocities?

People of all races are capable of committing horrific things.
We can't say that because 1 White person did something, that most Whites are like that!

In the last 5 days people died...In the last few years hundreds of THOUSANDS have died in IRAQ!!!!

Isn't that a big deal?
