I shave and use lotion but I get a billion of these red bumps on my underarms that don't go away forever!! And they itch like heck! Also, it looks really gross so I can't wear tank tops and it's almost summer. I can't wax or use nair (my mom won't let me) and even when I don't shave until the bumps go away and use a new razor blade and everything, they still come back! Any suggestions? Please!

Whenever you shave or use the creams make sure you use a sensitive skin formulation adn that you exfoliate gently using a exfoliating mitt every day. The bumps are a reaction to the cream and/or shaving and could also be sticking around because the hair becomes trapped under dead skin cells.

If you can talk your mum into letting you have something more permanent then use IPL hair removal by MulitLux. Safer, cheaper and no pain unlike lazer (waxing hurts more), and you have 6-8 treatments (1 per month) and you'll never have to shave or wax again. I've had my underarms and bikini line done and i'm getting my legs done next month. I must stress that you only use a salon that has Multilux machine. its the only machine with a contact cooling system, all other machines have a chance of burning and without getting too technical its the only machine that has a smooth-long pulse (which means that theres even less chance of burning and its effective - unlike other machines.

Show your mum how much it concerns you and maybe get her to take you into a reputable beauty salon and have one of the therapists have a look and suggest something.

waxing would be my best bet...it really isnt that bad...try convincing ur mom...lots of girls do it....u get this painless wax...hurts much much lesser than normal wax....
or else i'd suggest laser removal of hair..coz it seems like u have a tuff problem
if u cnt do that either...then consult a dermatologist...if u can cure those red bumps u can keep shaving...
all the best

Ooh,that's hard...but I think that the best way is to pluck the hair out with tweezers if shaving doesn't work.I think that shaving is the easiest and fastest way to go though.
