Please, what drivel, Easter moves from year to year, passover has no historical context, despite what is claimed by the Jews, and the last supper was even a gathering in the "pictorial" sense at all..it was a pre rebellion meeting hosted by Judhas Khrestus , the twin brother of Jesus, and the leader of the Essenes...

Passover . . ?

One of us is confused here . .

Wasn't passover the night where the angels passed over Egypt and killed every first born in the house without blood on the door?

It was part of the punishment of Pharoah for not letting Moses and his people out of slavery . .

This was the old testament, Jesus is in the new testament . . right?

I am no expert . . . I could be wrong

Maybe I am . . oops!

But I still don't understand why Jesus would "celebrate" the killing of firstborn children at Passover. Could someone explain . . please?

THEN, this IS highly spiritual time !!! The Eucharist ritual being the symbolic partaking of the Body of Christ...to take within some of His power, integrity and dignity. He also said: "Do this in remembrance of Me"...

Did you know that this partaking also means: the partaker is offering him/herself to be 'split apart'; in order to be made more whole?

What a courageous hero !!! And He had to live by faith too. His 'yes' to the cross means no-thing, if "no" is not an option.

So, at that last meal...He said.."one of you will betray Me"...and He added - 'this offense must occur; but woe to the man by which it occurs; it would be better for him that he never be born'...

Yes. Jesus is the ultimate passover for blood atonement for our sins.

Yeah, 4 days from now He rose from the grave. Easter is the one "Christian" holiday where we have a pretty good idea of the date it actually occurred on.

If Jesus existed, then yes, he would've celebrated Pesach on Nissan 14.
