I do. I think everyone loves it and hates it at the same time. If you dont mind the bad traffic, terrible allergy season, but love the great weather, along with other things, I think its the best state to live in.

Georgia is pretty cool. The one guy was right its really diverse.. One town is all rednecks (even ones who aren't white) and the next can be completely the opposite.. Most people are friendly but some are total snobs who think they are better than everyone.. same as anywhere you go... only definite thing about Georgia is the summer heat... It is so humid in May-September..I hate going outside..but that's just me.. but if you like warm weather No Problem. Its only Cold like December to early March.. Spring and Fall are great though....To tell you more I'd have to know what city you are talking about though..South Ga is different from north Ga and Atlanta might as well be its own State..

I was going to answer, "Georgians," but I thought that sounded kind of like a smart alec so I won't answer. Oops, I already did. Oh well.
Really, I have been in many places in Georgia and the people there are just like the people anywhere else. You need to let us know which part of Georgia you are asking about. It is a big place. Could be Atlanta or could be Savannah. Both places are nice but I would prefer Savannah since it is close to the ocean and a smaller metro area.

I live in Northwest Georgia.
I was born in Houston, TX, lived in St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, and have been traveling to NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, SF, LA, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and everyother major city in America for over 20 years.
And IMHO, for me, this is the best place for me. It has lush green forrest, mountains, and the climate is very temperate. It is just a great place to live.
I live in a small community on a horse farm. It is for me. I hope you give GA a chance, over 4 million have since 1990.

If your okay with rap music and rednecks then you'll be fine. Homes are cheap but the people are "backwards." Depends on the place your moving to as well. One town can be completely "redneck" another town can have absolutely no white people in it. Yet another town can be extremely friendly and quiet. Try Alpharetta, it's probably your best bet.
