Mystery : you do not have to be religious to pray, i am sure that your Dad is in a better place, and he is waiting for you there.

prayer is talking to God, and even if you are not religious, sometime just having someone to pour your heart out to is a comfort.

I am sorry for your loss, I have lost a lot of those that I love,
i know what it feels like to have an empty space where that special someone should be, and i will be praying for you and your Dad.
may you find peace, and know that you are loved.

Sorry to hear that. Sweetheart your dad's soul is hid with Christ. He is at rest awating the call to ressurection. I hope you will trut in Him. If you do you will see your father again. When all the people were mourning over Lazurus who had been dead several days Christ came and called Him out of the tomb and he who was dead was alive again that is what will happen at the end times. Jesus will return and the dead will here His voice and rise to new life for He and He alone has concoured death and holds the keys of death. Your dad will live again. Trust in Him today. On that day no orphan will be without a Father,no trusting sait will be left for decay and corruption. The lame will leap for joy. For there is none like unto Him.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know how you feel I lost my dad a few years ago and it hurt like nothing I have ever experienced before. I was a "daddy's" girl. I hope that you have good memories of your dad and find much comfort in those happier times you shared with him. My prayer for you is that Jesus will give you the peace that passes all understanding and that He will grant you rest tonight so you sleep in God's gentle care. God Bless.

YES I will!

Sorry, I am sure he is in a good place.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecc 3:1

Dear God of Creation, lead us to follow your plan for our lives, help us to persevere and to never give up on anyone. May we always follow you in love and faith and trust, sowing the seeds of your word.
I feel your Dad would like this prayer especially since he feels the same as I do, that this is the beginning, and there is life after death.
I'll pray more for your Dad and you! That you are protected and God sends you Comfort~!~

Of Course I'll Pray for him

But sounds like you need the prayer even more

If he had Jesus As My Dad did when he "Died"

He really didn't Die, just his earthly Body

He really Just Moved , he moved to heavenly Places

& yes He Can see you & You Can see him again
once your earthly body expires
But Ya gotta have jesus for the forgiveness of you sins so you can get in
Heres what I call
Prayer to Heaven:
God be Merciful to me a sinner(not Perfect) I believe Christ Died & rose again & that his precious blood will cleanse me from all my sin , I now receive Jesus into my Heart & Life as my Lord & Savior, Please Help me each Day To Do Your Will, In Jesus name I Pray; AMEN

If you Prayed That Prayer & MEAN IT ! Congratulations your going to Heaven.

I will say a prayer for you. I will pray for God to comfort you during this time of sorrow. I will also pray that you will get your life right with the Lord. If your dad is saved then he is in Heaven right now with God.

I am so sorry to hear about your father. I lost my mother in November and I can tell you that it does get better with time. I suggest reading the book "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper. A co-worker gave it to me after my mother died and it brought me a lot of peace. I am praying for you.

In paradisum deducant angeli;
in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyrus
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Jerusalem.

Chorus angelorum te suscipat
et cuum Lazaro, quondam paupere,
aeternam habeas requiem.

May the angels lead you into paradise;
at your coming may the martyrs receive you
and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem.

May the chorus of angels receive you
and with Lazarus, once poor,
may you have eternal rest.
