PLEASE DON'T STAY AT THIS MOTEL 6 SAN ANTONIO NORTHEAST

one employee (I'm going to assume it was only one of them) stole my credit card information and purchased more than $1000 dollars in pizza hut, papa johns, t-mobile, cosmetics and only God knows what more since I haven't received all my statements yet. I don't live in San Antonio so I called to speak to the manager about this incident and they could never tell me when she was going to be at work or when can I call her back, I left my number and I don't think is necessary to tell you that nobody has called me back. I'm trying to make all arrengements necessary so I can leave work and go over there and give them a piece of my mind. If this happened to you too on this or any other motel please say it here, we need to stop people from taking our hard worked money!

Yes I did called my credit card and cancelled it immediately after I found out. I don't eat pizza and I only use this credit card for business purposes so no going out to eat or anything like that. I only pay with this credit card whenever I need a hotel/motel.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR ADVICE. I feel a little bit better now. oh by the way, I didn't say why I needed to talk to the manager when I called the front desk.
THANKS AGAIN!!! :)

How do you know it's someone from that Motel? You could've ordered from Pizza Hut or Papa John's and someone from there could've stolen your credit card number if you gave it to them over the phone.

By the way, there has to be some sort of a manager working there. It's a motel! A manager has to work sometime! I'm just hoping you didn't (in all our frustration) tell the clerks what has happened and they are just hiding your messages from the manager in fear of their job. It's easy to get upset over something like this.

I hope you were smart enough to call and cancel your card immediately. You are only responsible (most of the time at least) for the first $50 in charges to your card unless you catch it quickly.

Here's some advice; if you haven't already done this. Call your credit card company and file a fraud claim for the charges. Most credit card companies have zero fraud liability so if you'll be off the hook financially. Don't even bother with the motel, odds are the girl quit and is long gone. This happens, people are dishonest everywhere.

I can understand your anger but the easiest way to handle this is to call your credit card company and file a fraud claim. The credit card companies have been fighting this stuff for years, so its not like no one knows about it.
