Moles, known medically as nevi, are clusters of pigmented cells that often appear as small, dark brown spots on your torso, face, arms and legs. But moles can come in a range of colors and can develop virtually anywhere, including your scalp, armpits, under your nails, and between your fingers and toes.

Most people have between 10 and 40 moles, although the number you have may change throughout life. New moles can appear into mid-adulthood, and because moles last about 50 years, some moles may disappear as you age.

I've had doctors tell me that moles are really only dangerous if they change. If your mole is new or has suddenly become a different color, texture, or shape, then you should absolutely get it looked at, but just having a mole doesn't mean anything.

The weird moles that you say you've been developing should probably be checked by a dermatologist.

Don't know what you mean by weird, but moles that are round and don't have jagged edges are usually not dangerous. Addi tonally, you need to observe for changes in color. I feel you need to be checked by a dermatologist. Good luck.

So long as the mole is circular and is not changing it should be fine. If you are nervous about it see the doc and get it checked out.
