I had pulmonary embolism on Feb. 15 and since they injected the medication (hepadrin) twice already, I've been breaking out. My face looks like a pizza. They're not actual pimples but look more like cold sores I have some around my mouth, besides my ears and on my forehead.

Could this be an allergic reaction to the medication and how can I get rid of them????

Heparin is a blood thinning agent. If you appear to have bruises or little red spots called petechiae, you should consult your doctor immediately, because your dosage may be too high or given too often for you. Be very careful not to get injured because you can bleed very easily without realizing it.

Let me provide you with a picture of petechiae so you can compare it to your own skin:

If this is what your face looks like, you should call the doc right away to let them know.

Do some research on the meds you are on to see if allergic reactions are normal.

Some rashes are a sign of a serious side effect that should be reported to your doctor right away.

Honey, I really want to help you but it's a case for a doctor to see.
It can be a lot of things.
What if someone give you a medication and you get allergic of it too?

You do have all the symptoms of drug allergy. Consult the Dr. about this, as it can become very dangerous if you continue or ever actually get this drug again. Good luck.

This would be my first assumption. Go to your family doctor. There has to be another medication.
