I only give an answer a thumbs-down if it is hateful or completely off the subject. If your answer is appropriate, even if it differs from my view, I wouldn't give it a thumbs down.

I hate to tell you this, but if you are worshipping anything other than the one true God, his son Jesus Christ, and his Holy Spirit ..... you are worshipping the devil. See, Satan has many tricks. He makes Wicca look attractive by offering the idea of a benevolent nature goddess, but all he really wants is to draw worship from the LORD. And apparently he has done a very good job decieving your mind.
It is never too late to repent and receive the gift of salvation. Why would you want to light a candle for good luck when you could have the power of the Almighty Creator of the Universe behind you? That little candle seems awfully insignificant.
I don't think that you are a Satanic, evil person. I feel inside that you are a good person who has been tricked by the Devil and his demons. God has laid you on my heart and I will be praying that he reveals the truth to you soon.

Jesus Christ died, so that you might live! He took your punishment! Don't give Satan any victory.
what i just listed above is an answer you gave me to a question about my beliefs. you flat out told me that if i am not following jesus i have been tricked into following some evil thing. you did exactly what you said you didnt do in your question. you got thumbs down from me for that reason. ps, when i light that candle, i do say words to a god, whether its yours or not. so i do have the power of a god behind me, its just not your god.

Sometimes I will give a thumbs down if a person is stating their religious beliefs as fact. If a person simply cuts a pastes a verse from the bible, then I may give it a thumbs down because it doesn't answer the question, or because it is not in the answerer's own words.

Don't worry about the thumbs down, because the Word of God is right. Don't let this discourage you. I sometimes look at all of the non believers (questions and answers) and I wonder the same thing..... why are they in this section. But they are here because we are here. The Bible tells us that if we exalt Jesus and lift Him up, He will draw people to Him. You may think that the thumbs down is not a good thing, but truly it is and God is still good! All the time!!! Keep up the work of the Good Shepherd! Blessings to you.

I have never thumbs-downed you, but looking at some of your past answers, you told someone they were going to hell for practicing Wicca, failed to provide Biblical support for that, and that wasn't the point of the question either.
When people asked why atheists/agnostics/Buddhists/etc. were more tolerant, you said that it was because they are liars, and failed to provide Biblical evidence. Again, that wasn't the point of the question.
You can't claim to speak the word of God and then speak harshly while failing to provide reason for it. From the point of view of the Wiccans/atheists/etc. that thumbs-downed you for that, I'd say that you not only told them they were going to hell - you told them they were bad people and liars.
It may not have been your intent to look judgmental in those posts; given your words here, I trust that it wasn't your intent. That's how it looked though, for what that's worth.
I sincerely hope this helps and provides an answer.

Then thumb some atheists down. Or you could thumb atheists up. The Bible lets you do both.
Option 1: An eye for an eye.
Option 2: Turn the other cheek.

Well one reason is that there are so many churches based on different dogmas. The lack of Unity is distressing to the Holy Spirit. I try to listen politely as Jesus would and find the common ground where we agree. Unless someone is in grave error.

Because the Word of God is considered an offense to those who do not believe.
Even Jesus said that He came to bring emnity between family members.
If that occurs betwixt people who supposedly love one another, how much more divisive is the Word of God to those who do not care a shred for us.
It hurts, and it's hard, but try to look at it as an honor when you are persecuted in His name. Also, remember - you are not alone, and great is the reward awaiting you for your suffering.
God Bless

Oh, poor you. I used to get reported to death for answering mildly but honestly. Now I am still honest but far less mild.
You might be being quite offensive for all I know. Wait here. I will go check.
What are you whining about?
I checked 6 of your answers randomly.
You had no thumbs downs, and each one had at least one thumbs up!
Oh look, my fan has been here!

Because there is no such thing as God and it is so obvious. Not believing in God sets you free from fear and denial.
It is a hard thing to come to terms with as humans believe in God because it is too tragic to accept that we are just all alone in this universe and it all ends in death. Who ever said there had to be a point?
