(A) God created the world
(B) Believe scientists
(C) All of the above
I vote (C). Everybody's always saying how it's either you believe in God or Evolution... but did you ever stop to think that maybe there could be both? I mean, sure there was evolution, because there was evidence. But how do you think Evolution came about? I believe that Evolution was just God's process to making the humans we are today to worship and love him. (that may sound really conceited, but that's how mind-bottling and mysterious God is. Nobody will ever know how God thinks, or even if there's such a thing as "thinking" with God. Maybe God has a way of being there for each one of us without thoughts or any type of mental activity at all... hmm deep.) Anyway, I vote (C) because I believe in both.

Faith and reason can get along!
Its perfectly plausible that the big bang happened. Thats how God put everything in motion. He could have "bridged the gap" or made the jump from ape to man. He could have manipulated nature to bring about the plagues of Egypt.
Just so you guys know: The Big Bang theory was created by a priest: Georges Lemaître

Really? The bible says you're not allowed to teach men, so why ask questions? It also says your father is allowed to sell you into slavery to pay off debts - looking forward to that? Or he could just kill you if you talk back. Didn't you read Exodus? How can you claim to believe every word in the bible? Do you think we should be allowed to have slaves? God said we could. Did you even read the bible?
Try thinking sometime. Logic is your friend. So is science - and if you want to throw that away, don't forget to throw away the laptop and cell phone and car and indoor plumbing as well, because science gave you those too.

Oh, then do you eat shell fish and wear permanent press clothes? The same book that claims there was is a deity who created everything also says that same god forbade the eating of sea creatures without fins and condemned the mixing of fibers in clothes.
Shame on you.

A summary of Catholic beliefs is contained in the Nicene Creed (from the year 325):
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
For a complete description of what Catholics believe, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/index.htm
With love in Christ.
