Is her weight really dangerous for her age? or is she overweight? what can i tell her to make her feel better, or what she can do to loose weight? plz help. i dont want her to get anorexic or bulimic if she gets to depressed with herself just to loose weight

She probably isn't overweight. My major issue with the charts/information all over the internet about the height/weight ratio is that they don't generally take into account body types. For example, if a person is meant to be naturally slender and petite, s/he probably shouldn't weigh 180. However, someone like me who is 5'3 with a bust measurement of 42 (which means I'm built to be busty) would probably be all but anorexic if I weighed less than 150 (I'm 170, by the way). If your friend has major concerns, to be on the safe side she should discuss her issues with her doctor or nutritionist.

What? She isn't overweight! You can't even tell that she isn't overweight (let alone weighing so much that it's "dangerous")???

Sound like it's too late. She's already got an eating disorder. If you obsess and cry constantly about how FAT you think you are when you are just perfect.....you are really sick. Girls like this DIE everyday.

tell her that if she really feels bad, even though she shouldn't, then the 2 of you can start working out together and lean on each other for support when you need it. No matter if somebody is fat or skinny their health can always improve. Just be sure that you try to make her understand it's about being healthy, not thin.

She is definitely not fat, but it is good that she is concerned because each day that people allow themselves to gain is another day of accumulating fat. The key to weight and good health is to be concerned and not allow yourself to become overweight. Exercise is a must. We have to burn calories in order to not gain weight. Good luck.

just keep encouraging her to eat healthy and remind her she's beautiful no matter what. I dont think she's obese or anything but instead of focusing on weight, help her to just get healthy, both of you can make a fitness plan with fun excercise so you're doing it with her.
