I had rhinoplasty (nose surgery) 4 years before going out with him. I never thought to mention it since I didn't think he had to know or that I needed to even tell him since it's my own private business. However, a mutual friend of ours that knew me from way back mentioned that my nose looked different to him and he asked me so I told him the truth. Now he's upset that I never told him myself and he is wondering if I'm hiding anything else from my past. This is completely unfair since plastic surgery is a sensitive issue and I don't want to feel attacked for this. Also, he has no right to be paranoid that I might be lying about other things. What do you guys think?

he has no right to be upset with you... if your nose were any different would that change his perspective of you... if not then it really dosent matter... its your own bussiness and you can chosse to share that info with anyone you chosse... jeez its not like you guys are getting married... tell him to chill

In my opinion, with something of this nature I think its justified that you kept that to yourself. It was probably a sensative issue for you and it is not nessacarily a subject that you want the world to know about. He shouldnt be worrying that you are hiding anything from him that may impact you relationship in a negative way. I dont think this was that type of thing. Now had been keeping back a long lost child or an old prostitution charge, or something like that, I think that would have been a different story.

Well 1st of all if he really loves you he really shouldn't care at all . then plastic surgery isn't anything bad. Just be u and if your boyfriend still talks about you tha he really he doesn't like u? But it's your choice!!

He is upset because you told another guy and not him...I wouldn't say he should be upset but its understandable that he is a bit depressed, possibly hurt because another was told and not him...it would not have been any thing if he new first.

maybe he felt that u were being fake with him. Tell him that you it wasnt anything personal that u just never really thought about it, that u had gotten used to it and never thought of ur old one. Talk to him about it. That all i can say.

oh please, tell him to blow his nose! this is just an excuse to belittle you and he seems to blow up over this ...he'll blow up over something else. tell him not to be a low, self centered, prick and of course, ask him if he is hiding something! i's dump him for someone who does appreciate your mind and your nose!
