well, a friend of mine had a "stalker" who left messages on her doorstep that contained scriptures about homosexuality and how it is wrong. then, this person started leaving dead doves on her doorstep. i was just wondering if this person was using it as a symbol to tie in with the anti-homosexuality thing. or maybe it was just a random dead animal that this stalker person decided to put in front of her door.

IN biblical terms the Dove represents the Spirit. At the baptism of Christ the Spirit was said to settle down on Christ appearing as a dove. Probably only Jesus actually saw anything also He was probably the one who heard the voice of God everyone else heard thunder.
The dead dove would be a Satanic symbol so a stalker who left dead doves would be a satanist. Honestly even satanists probably would not do such. The stalker is a nut.

The dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit descending upon Jesus--
but its not a dead dove!

The symbolism of a dead dove never appears in Christianity, or is used. But if you've had dreams where you see dead doves it symbolizes one's peace being taken away or gone.

Doves were one of the most common sacrifices in the ancient Hebrew temple. They were the sacrifice of the person too poor to afford a sheep or bull. A dead dove would be on already sacrificed.

Live doves symbolize peace. I never heard of dead doves used as Christian symbolism.

I think doves symbolize the Holy Spirit but as far as I'm aware of there not dead.
