Every time I go to a walmart or a grocery store, 3/4 of the time I hear my neighbors talking.
Most of the time I go to a store like i mentioned one or more people in line dont know english and they end up having to find someone who knows english because there is some dispute over the price of something.
End up sitting there forever... or I leave and go somewhere else.

Most conversations in my community are not spoken in English. About 60% of the population is from elsewhere, mostly south of the border.

Daily. At least 3 different languages - Spanish, Russian, and German - and the German is not from immigrants. Its been a second language here (where I live in the US) for 200+ years - but they speak English, too.

I do not eavesdrop on other peoples conversations and don't feel the need to "spy" on someone else. But I live in an area where there are many different cultures and I do go into ethnic stores.

Everyday... I am constantly walking around hearing Spanish and Korean. I feel that I'm a minority in my country when that's all I hear. Other than Spanish and Korean the 3rd one I hear most is Vietnamese, and then after that I come across some French, or other European language. (Live in US).
