The top of my stomach hurts so bad. It's probably 2 to 3 inches above my belly button, and I feel like I have to throw up. I went to the doctor the other day because my mouth was hurting really bad and he said I have some thing (I'm not even going to try to spell it. . .) where my salivary gland is swollen and it is caused by infection. Could that infection be in my stomach or something? If so, is that bad? If not, any ideas on what would make my stomach hurt up there? It's been hurting at night for the past three days, and it hurt the day before I went to the doctor.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

There are many things that could be causing your stomach to hurt. I suggest you either go back to the Dr. or find one who is willing to determine what is wrong with you.

Don't be silly and try to get your answer here! You need to call the doctor back, especially if it feels that bad. It could be something minor or major. Don't take your chances. Hope you feel better! =)
