Is it ok for a girl to burn like one scented candle at her house if you come over? I'm asking this question because my sister just got dumped by her boyfriend that she had been dating for 8 weeks because he thought scented candles were "uncool". She only had one scented candle burning and it was peach. Would you dump her? I would like to hear your thoughts...Thanks..o she's 22 and he was 23.

Hell yea its ok to burn scented candles they smell great! and i bet there were more reasons that guy dumped her besides the candle situation, i mean cmon who doesnt like nice smelling things. I would definately not dump her, I would walk in the house, see that there is a candle burning, then ask her, "are we about to get it on right now cause im about as hard as a diamond in an ice storm"

Well, if that was the real reason (and even if not) she's better off without that guy. As a guy of 23 myself I don't see anything wrong with a scented candle, and honestly think a candle or two would be a good thing. Moreover, if this guy is 23 and is still living his life based on what's "cool" and "uncool" he is mentally immature to put it in the nicest way possible.

That's pretty funny. That's a totally lame excuse for dumping someone. She's probably lucky she got rid of that stiff. So no, it's not a problem to burn the candle.

Sorry to hear that, if the guy dumped her over a scented candle he probuly wasn,t worth her time. I think it was nice that she would do somthing like. In the long run it,s his loss

sounds like he's immature. candles are a nice way to create conversation and are generally a way to "set the mood" or relax people in an unfamiliar environment. not to mention, the right ones do smell good.

He is a damn fool. If you didnt post his age i would have thought he was 14 or 15. She is better off without him.
