what is the difference if you melt soap instead of letting it dissolve on your skin?

ok, if i melt a bar of soap(with a liter), will it have the same consistancy and mosturization, than if i i just let let it dissolve by water?

where do you think o fthis stuff? i think that it would work better if melted b/c then water doesn't make it as runny
