I have a question on the root "pon"
(is it a suffix or prefix?)
i need a word for it to memorize
"pon" means "place", which is simliar to posit
however, i searched on the interent and dictionaries
as a result i could not seems to find it
can someone help me please?
this is an emergency..!!!

Are you thinking 'place' (geographically) - in which case I can't help you - or 'place', as in 'to place' something upon - or, in your case, 'pon.

This contraction of 'upon' is an archaism and still used in some forms of English regional speech.

apon - a root is neither a prefix or suffix (affixes) but the 'base meaning unit' of a word.
