I just walked outside to find that the kids down the street paintballed my car. Now i have huge red paintball marks on my white car. What should I do? I was going to call the cops but I am waiting until my fiance gets home. I took my video camera outside and got it on tape. What should i do about it.

it sucks because their parents dont care. they let them do whatever they want. theyre like 16-17 and their parents let them jump on the roof of their cars. its not that i care if the car is messed up.. its the fact that these kids need to learn to respect others stuff. I just moved here in october and have been getting attitude from them ever since. I dont want my son growing up in this place but i have a 5 year lease..

Paintball are waterbased so don't get to panicked, the paint should all wash off. However paintball will leave dents. I would call the cops, get all the pictures and video's you can.
If you know who did it, you are a step ahead of the game.
Good luck

Contrary to what Paintballer 77 said, it IS vandalism because the paintball can and Will leave dents and possibly mar the finish. As for your added information. I would call the authorities and let them handle it and call the authorities every single time something happens. There is no reason why you should have to deal with rude and abusive people. Let the authorities deal with them. And when those kids and their families realize that you are not going to mess around with them and are just going to call the cops on them, they will leave you alone (eventually).
I'm really sorry about your dilemma, it sounds like it's not an ideal situation. You have my sympathies.

Oh yeah I would as a parent.. I would want to know that about my son.. I mean no matter if it is water based u are damaging other peoples property, so I think u should make a police report or go talk to the parents and have them wash the car and pay for ant dents that you may have from that. they should be taught a lesson.

It is not vandalism, as there was no damage. It is a civil issue and you should talk to the parents of the kid. If that does not work, call the police and tell them the parents are not doing anything about it. You could go to the homeowners association.

Call the cops and make sure if you know them tell thier parents, also it should wash off fine, but wait until the cops saw it, and take pictures. If it is dented see what your insurance will pay to fix. If not take a 45 and see if they like it!!!!!! My husband paintballed the inside of our garge door and it did wash right off. Good luck.

Get the police report and file an insurance claim.
Better still if you have witnesses then the ins company will sue the parents and the PD will file vandalism charges.
The sooner you call PD because for something not critical, they may take several hours to respond.
So sorry to hear that. . . it would make my blood boil too.

you need to call the police and file a police report. Chances are it will be up to you whether or not you press charges and you should. At a minimum these punks can be charged with criminal damage to property.
Maybe some time in juvie will set these kids striaght, then I would make sure they paid for it.

first off, get pictures and video then wash the car. The same thing happened to my 2000 Mustanf GT Conv. I turned the hose on the paint and it washed off with no scrubbing at all. Do that before the paint sets and dries. If you have to scrub use a light car wash and scrub very light to avoid scratching the paint. Then find the bastard that did it and let the police know.

Call the police and report the crime. Provide them with the video camera recording to include with the report. Documenting the incident is important if you identify the perpetrators and take them to civil court to recoop your deductible or cost of repairs (if any).

If that was my car I wouldn't wait to call the police. Call them, report any damages, tell them you also have it on videotape.
( I'd make a couple copies ) If you didn't see them do it you
will have to prove they did it before the police will do anything.
