why screen of Webcamera is dark?

i connect camera but don.t see myself,screen is dark

1) Try pointing a light in the direction the camera is pointing to illuminate the subject.
2) Is there a lens cap?
3) Are there settings where you can adjust the brightness & contrast?

1. it might be positioned on playback and there is no picture taken.
2. the screen might be turned off

u should put a a light against you. just use study lamp.
