What is an evolutionist? Creationism isn't a science but a belief in a supernatural event. Is it like a atomist or gravitist? Next step in evolution depends on what changes take place in our environment and what genes are advantageous. Takes time though it appears humanity has undergone some recent changes according to some studies.

The next major step in human evolution is likely to come from gene therapy engineering. We are already doing this to some extent in genetic screening with in vitro fertilization. As more is known about the relationship of molecular genetics with disease we should be able to engineer our genome to prevent certain diseases. Even though this will be done by molecular genetic engineering rather than by natural selection, any change in the human genome still counts as evolution.

It depends totally on how the environment changes and the rate it changes at.
The only thing that comes next is changes.
Apparently humans are losing their wisdom teeth. I have no idea why
And evolution never stops working, ever.

For you to say "What’s the next step in evolution" Means you STILL don't understand it.
Forget about it you're not looking for answers to the REAL truth and will never understand it. Give it up.
See I could show you proof of evolution (not that you need it because it's all around you) and you will still deny it exist.
Pitbulls, Yes Pitbulls are a perfect example of evolution.
Now you’re going to say “no their not” Ok fine Explain it to me?
I know what evolution of the species means, I know for a fact you don’t.
Did God make them… no, he didn’t… did he!!
Hmm How can you explain pitbulls if god didn’t make them??? Hmm??
Oh that’s right Evolution. But you’re a god fearing ignorant bible thumper.
It doesn’t exist.
Sorry you’re wrong; it makes you look ignorant to argue that it doesn’t exist.
Look weather you believe in god or not you can not deny something because you think the Atheist are trying to trick you.
The answers to life in the bible fit that time period. It’s time to look beyond the superstitions of the old days.
See to me and people like me, we understand what the Bible was about, not what was in it!!
You would feel betrayed to learn what the Bible was really about.

Sounds like you have no idea what the concept of evolution is. It's already happening. I was born without the useless wisdom teeth.

Well I think it's curious that there are many different races - I'd expect that one will eventually become homo nextus and the rest will die off - but THEN? I think within 100 years we'll figure out how to isolate life and stop aging - basically become immortal and eventually non-body-dependent. We'll move to consciousnesses in jars - jars with lots of interactive controls, mind you, like rockets and grabbers and so on.

Human beings are getting shorter. If we start colonies in space then there will be genetic drift in the direction of the populations selected for colonization.

I'd think we'd change to be more immune to bacteria. more imumne to virius' and our metabolism will slow down due to our food selection habits.
