I think you need to stick to a regime and do it twice a day.
Starting now or tomorrow. Get a clean wash cloth make it damp and heat in the micro. for a few seconds and place on your face. Repeat. Wash with a pure all natural soap and exfoliate [use one geared towards black heads] also buy a mask. Exfoliate twice a week, and do a mask once a week (not on the same day).
Apply an acne cream - they should work themselves out.

Repeat the washing in the PM and go to bed with a clean face - if the black heads become white heads apply a dash of peroxide to them to clear bacteria.

sorry this may not directly answer your question but i have a quick tip if you are going ot use thoe peel off strips (which by the way i love). put a strip of tape on your problem areas and then peel it off. then use the blackhead strips. this helps remove twice as many blackheads. give it a try... hoped this helped.
