The Book of Acts records many meetings of the Apostles after they received the gospel commission from Christ.

Acts 2
1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 15:2
And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.

Acts 16:4
Now while they were passing through the cities, they were delivering the decrees which had been decided upon by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem, for them to observe.

Galatians 1:17
nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus.

Galatians 2:1
[ The Council at Jerusalem ] Then after an interval of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

This verses would indicate that after they were sent, they had established Jerusalem as the base of their outreach, and gathered there.

The Apostles stayed in Jerusalem until after the resurrection , after the 40 days Jesus walked, talked and ate and drank with them until His ascension to heaven

Yes He did meet up with them...I don't have a reference handy but then they went out with the 70 also by twos and came back...they were almost constantly with Jesus except when He sent them out....and they were together for that last week in Jerusalem.
