If by positivist you mean somebody who thinks the only authentic knowledge is scientific knowledge, and that such knowledge can only come from positive affirmation of theories through strict scientific method, than the answer is simple : "Creation" being a central myth in many religions, it can be the subject of study as a sociological/ethnographic *phenomenon*, and can be described and compared. But the *content* of these myths are unverifiable. A Positivist doesn't deal in "views", but in *facts*. Just as you can't have a "view" on gravity or evolution.

A Positivist (like Bertrand Russell) absolutely rejects creationist mythology, and Christianity too. Scientific knowledge is the only valid kind of knowledge.

Positivists generally don't believe in something unless it can be proven positive through scientific means. So, they don't believe in creation.

In fact, in the much broader category of empiricists, you don't find belief in creation either.
