I'm going to the Dominican Republic on April 14th and I want to learn some spanish. I've been looking at some websites that offer free spanish lessons but wanted to know if anyone knew of any good ones. I don't want to have to pay so please don't tell me about any pay websites. I just want to know the basic things that I would need to know how to say when talking to a housekeeper and a bartender and those kind of people. Thanks

You don't have enough time to learn Spanish. Google "Spanish phrases" and you will find enough to get by with. Or, go to a bookstore and get a Spanish phrase book. They don't cost very much and are very helpful.
