Probably dark skinned - all Jews were dark skinned, in those years.
The White Jews as you know them, today originated from Eastern Europe and hijacked the religion and called themselves Jews. The original Jews as they are suppose to look, can be found in Ethiopia.
Today, you'll find that the White Jews scoff at the idea that the Black Jews claim themselves as Jews. DNA testing has revelaed that the Black Jews have a much stronger claim to being called Jews than the ones who have hijacked the Jewish religion. A few scattered Jewish tribes have been found in Africa and even speak a lingo interspersed with Hebrew words.

There was a Time magazine issue about 10 years ago - if someone finds it, plz post a link - where they reconstructed with computers what Jesus would have looked like.

He was a short, well-built Middle Eastern-favoring guy with a broad face, prominent nose, medium skin, and black wavy hair - Mizrahi Jewish, in other words.

I find that the most convincing guess, personally.

Well, if he was Jewish then he was fairly dark skinned. There were no light skinned European Jews back then, since they had always lived in Judea or Israel.

If he were part Arab, as in a Galilean/Samaritan mix he might even be a tad darker, but not much.

About the same color as most modern Egyptians you might see pictures of.

If Jesus actually existed as a "single person" (and not just a mythical conglomeration of many "charismatics" who were probably real people around that time, them common sense should tell you he must have looked much like today's Israelis & Palestinians. It is also possible he was more "African-looking" based on population migration patterns.

Did Julia say it replaced right into slightly """"mute"""" LOL. Thank goodness the strains between atheist mind and christian mind are patently defined. the colour of Jesus Christs pores and skin basically concerns to somebody who claims to have not have been given any concept in Him. He was a Jew (black hair, black eyes, medium skin)

I don't know why there's such a huge misconception on that - a lot of people say he was white - but how can he be white if he lived in the Middle East? Ya know?

Does it matter?

A person born where he was most likely would not have been as white as depictions show.
