I am moving into a new room and i want to decorate my walls in a palm tree/beach theme. I don't want a wall paper i want to be able to paint it myself. i'm a pretty good drawer so don't worry about difficulty. Please help me. i need ideas and pics.

Sounds cool to me! Lower third in a sand color, upper 2/3s in a sky color...or vise versa...if you do clouds, go for it. If your palm drawing is a bit iffy, you could trace a real frond to get the feel and go from there. Have several colors of green to give the fronds/trees depth. Floor should be a sisal or similar rug, furniture wicker if possible. Futon would fit better than a bed, but that might not be an option. Sea shells could be glued to picture frames, boxes, lamps.....whatever would give you the feeling. Good bright tropical colors for accents. If you could swing an overhead fan with tropical leaf blades, cool. Wall ornament or ornaments should be tropical but not over done.

Paint 3 of 4 walls a blue or beach-related color.On the 4th wall try sketching a beach scene and number it then by using different colors(according to the pic.)
