It could mean that they like you, but it also could mean that he's just a really flirtatious guy and that's how he is with everyone. Try and observe (not stalkerish like) how he is with other girls...to see if your the only one he's like that with....then go from there.

Random conversations and eye contact sounds like he likes her a bit. If he is making excuses to talk or make any contact, he is very interested but doesn't quite know what else to do to get her attention. It isn't always so easy. It doesn't mean he is shy, it may mean that he is at a loss for words and fumbles to keep her attention.
Tell her to be gentle and give him a chance. If she likes him, it could be an incredible relationship!!! If she isn't really interested, she needs to let him down very, very, easy and slowly. Be kind.

If I guy bothers to show that much attention there is definatly something there. If he hasnt actually made a move there could be 2 reasons, he is either too shy or afraid of rejection or he is unsure how much he likes this person and wants to see if something else comes along. I say take a shot, ask him out.

Well if the guy (lets call him A) likes B and doesnt know B incredibly well he will probably display the symptoms you described.
The proper response is for B to either flirt and encourage him (telling him he has a chance) or to ignore him (not be too warm with him) politely (telling him she isnt interested).

Maybe, why don't you ask him? Sometimes people are nice to other people but it doesn't mean that they "like" the other person. Or maybe he does like her. I don't think any of us can answer that for you, but it sounds like it's a possibility. If he likes her he'll probably make it known to her as long as she doesn't make it too hard for him.

It may mean nothing......if the guy is just a joker anyway, but he could have a thing for her. If he does it to everyone, ignore it, but if it is special to the girl, welllllll......it might mean something

It might be flirtation. Then again, he could just be overly friendly. The only way to find out is to ask him what his problem is.

If he only does it to that one girl, he likes her and doesn't yet know of a more mature way of letting her know it. He's probably nervous and a bit insecure.

it could be that this person really likes you, but it kind of sounds that this person is very fond of you though i think more as a friend. so i think he likes you but just as a friend. i think this person is very social and friendly!
