Great question! No it could not have been Jesus because while Satan is capabale of masterful deception, Jesus is able of great love that Satan would not be able to show....deceit or not.
However, this theory applies directly to that of the Antichrist that was mentioned in the New Testament, as well as other religious texts..
"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, … Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed , the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God."[2]

Yes in fact Satan is described as a deceiver and he always disguises himself as an angel of light but he really is an angel of darkness and he couldn't be JESUS because he tried that before and that's what got him kicked out of heaven.

Yes, he is the father of lies.
No, it's not possible. Jesus died for our sins. Satan is too selfish to do anything that isn't self-centered. Satan only loves himself and only does things for himself.
Jesus taught us, we will know a tree by it's fruit.

He hasn't the power to do such a thing. his power is limited. Besides, the coming of Jesus was not known to Satan; it took Him by surprise. He thought he had won, but God always have a second plan.

Good question!
The jewish scholars also thought about that...
"But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow (Jesus)drives out demons."
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?
And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges.
But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

14And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled. 15But some of them said, “He casts out demons by £Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”
16Others, testing Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven. 17But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls. 18If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? Because you say I cast out demons by Beelzebub. 19And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges. 20But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. 22But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. 23He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Luke 11:14-23
