Lovely Lady Vette ~
In my opinion, I'd have to write Oscars was more impressive than Floyd's. Just for the mere fact that Oscar fought Arturo in 2001 and Floyd fought Arturo in 2005. Arturo had so much taken out of him from his three fights with Micky Ward that he wasn't the same fighter as he was when he fought Oscar. Floyd fought a beat up a very old and tired Arturo Gatti who's best fight was his 1st of the three with Ward. Had Floyd fought Arturo one or two fights before the 1st Ward fight would the outcome have been different? Who knows but I do know that Arturo would have been a little less beaten up.
Thanks for the question LLV.

Mayweather`s beating of gatti was about as artistic and graceful as you can get in boxing. Not to take anything away from De la Hoya`s performance which was also exceptional but Mayweather took apart gatti a little like a scientist disects an animal. he sliced and cut gatti into pieces with unprecedented precision. Mayweather was definitely more impressive in my opinion.

Man Lovely Lady, this is a tough one! Both guys were very impressive in stopping Gatti, but Oscar was so much bigger and stronger that the way he stopped him was really a shock to no one, and Gatti did hit Oscar with a few shots but he couldn't hurt him. Floyd's stoppage of Gatti was masterful. And while i knew Floyd would outclass him, i thought he would do it with a little more movement and boxing, but he mainly stood right in front of Gatti and Gatti still couldn't hit him with a meaningful punch and he pounded Gatti with blazing speed and surprising power. Gatti is such a tough fighter that it was kind of shocking to see him get beat that way, especially from a fighter that's not naturally bigger and stronger than him like De La Hoya and Carlos Baldomir were. I have to agree with my man blogbaba and give Floyd's win a slight edge. And i might have just made history because this is one of the very few times (if ever) that i've disagreed with my man Santana.

Id have to say Mayweather Jr. but I didnt like when the ref said to break he kept hitting gatti. Then the ref downplayed it like he never said break. Gatti took a lot of shots and a knockdown cause of it. Mayweather is good enough where he dont need a advantage as to hit gatti with clean shots like that and a free knockdown. Gatti didnt look terrible up until then. Dont get me wrong gatti was gonna lose either way. Its just that he got pummeled after that. I never seen him in such pain.

De La Hoya. Gatti had more left in the tank than he did against Floyd.

I believe that Floyd's victory over Gatti was slightly more dominant but that Gatti was a better fighter when he fought De La Hoya. Good question, thank you!

Gotti took two serious beatings, but DeLa Hoya hit a little harder, so his TKO of Gotti was a little more merciful that the pummling Floyd gave him. Oscar at least appeared to take a few grazing shots in the exchanges with Gotti, Floyd dominated with almost flawless defense and ruthless counter punching, it didn't look like Gotti landed a meaningful punch on Floyd the whole fight.
I got to give the edge to Floyd, but it is a very slight edge.

now they both were really impressive but floyd was more aggressive when he be him, you could look in gatti's eye's and see who knew he was in trouble in the first round even though oscar was really impressive, gatti still had faith that he could perform pretty well against oscar but against floyd you could just see that he had no chance.
