If you sign up to their online banking, you can get the last 6 years statements there online immediately. Otherwise, you have to write to your branch asking for the last 12 months statements and I believe they can charge you £10 for printing them and sending them to you. Online is free and instantaneous.

Go into your branch if your claiming charges back ask for the last 6 years it costs the same £10.They have up to 40 days to give you them it normally takes 2 weeks.Good Luck

hsbc online banking will let u print back and view to 2002 and its free!!

Yes, ask them under the Data Protection Act (They can charge you £10-£15 for it though) but they must, by law, give you the information as its on computer.

Whilst your at it ask them all the charges they've ever given you (if any) and how they break up as you can claim most of them back!

Do you have an internet banking facility on your account? If so, you can see previous statements (and print them out if necessary).
