I always pluck my eyebrows right after getting out of the shower. The warm water opens your pores and also softens the hairs, making them much easier to pluck. Also, invest in a good, professional pair of tweezers, to help grip the hair well. Gently pull the skin around the area to be plucked, to tighten the skin and make the hair pull out easier. After plucking, apply aloe vera if you tend to get very red. If you tend to break out after plucking and/or waxing, apply a small amount of neosporine to the area to prevent infection, and subsequent pimples.

It is really best to see a professional for an initial arch shaping, and then maintain the brows with plucking, however, if you want to shape your brows, here is how. If you are not just plucking the stray hairs, but creating an arch, make sure to draw your arch with a white penicl before. This gives you a preview of what the brows will look like and gives you a guide to follow so you do not pluck too much! When creating an arch, go from your inner tear duct, on a very slight angle out towards your nose. This is where your eyebrow should start. From the outer edge of your eye, also make a slight diagonal line out, toward your ear. This is where your brow should end. To find your arch, look straight ahead, and make a slight diagonal line out toward your ear. This is where your eyebrow should start to arch.

Don't try to wax your own eyebrows. It is very hard to get the brows even, and you can easily remove too much hair. Also, you may make the wax too hot and damage your skin. See a professional for waxing!!

Hope this is helpful!

i have tried this before but im not sure if it works for everyone tho but give it a try.. put warm or hot water on your eyebrows and the whole area. u can use like a hot towel or paper towel or whatever.. hot or warm water opens pores.. then wipe it dry and then use Anbesol.. that stuff for toothaches that numbs the pain.. or any other brand and put it on ur brows also. leave for a couple of minutes and wipe away or if u put a very thin layer of it u can then pluck ur brows and u shudnt feel too much pain or no pain at all. i hope this helps give it a try! DO NOT USE ICE! ice closes pores which will make it more painful to pluck them!

I wish there was! You could try applying ice to the area to numb it for a few minutes before plucking, then dry the area completely, so it is easier to grab the hairs. I wouldn't suggest putting lotion on before plucking because it will just make it harder to grab with the tweezers.
I've done it many times and was told to do this by a professional.
I was also told to take a couple of Tums before plucking/waxing. They will reduce redness and swelling.
(Don't ever shave around your eyebrows, it will mess them up.)

Threading is an old and inexpensive hair removal technique to shape eyebrows.

try putting ice and lotion on them before you pluck them or whenever you get your eyebrows done.

No, it will always hurt. That area is very sensitive. Although you could shave that area, but I wouldn't try that.
