No one can be a perfect Christian- to do that means you're perfect, and we all know that. (thinking that you're perfect means you're vain and therefore not perfect anyways) Saying that to someone else shouldn't be for personal satisfaction, it shouyld be a genuine effort to help someone. Saying something that offensive to someone who truly cares is quite mean if unnecessary, and it won't help someone who doesn't. If you enjoy saying something like that, you have pride issues because you're happy over proving that you're "better" than another.

Well I've never said that to any christian - not even my brother who takes his religious beliefs to the extreme conservative side and constantly tells me how awful I am because I refuse to come back into the christian fold.
I will give you my example of a good person as I could care less what kind of belief they have (or don't have as the case may be). The good person gives their thoughts and opinions but does not press them thereby showing respect for the other. I always give respect that is given to me.
Now, I'm agnostic and I do think Jesus of Nazareth was an actual person that walked this earth. However, I do not believe he was divine by nature; that was something that came many years after he ceased to exist. I know many do not agree with that and each is able to hold their own beliefs on the subject. So, given that, I do not believe that anyone is perfect no matter who they decide to believe in.

I have been trying to understand the true message that Jesus left us about love. I think if we can really figure it out we could all be good examples of what Jesus ask of us.
A long time ago I thought that love was something that you reserved for some special set of people that you had judged worthy of it.
After a while I got to thinking about what Jesus had said about turning the other cheek and loving our neighbor I put the two together and realized that he had made no exceptions in these statements. It became obvious to me that he intended that we exclude no one from the love that we are supposed to be giving. I started thinking about my idea of love and suddenly realized that I had not been loving anyone at all. I had simply been judging everyone and every thing.
Judging someone worthy of love is not love, it is only judgment. I actually started to cry when I realized this. I saw just how much of my life I had wasted being judgmental, thinking of myself as a Christian, when I was actually doing just the opposite of what Jesus had asked us to do.
I thought about the verse judge not lest ye be judged, and I understood it for the first time.
I realized that I have a lot of catching up to do. So many opportunities were wasted. I now try to apply the love that I have for the world in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do.
If I start to feel afraid and think that I see someone that I should not love because of something I have thought or heard I try to catch my mistake as soon as possible. I tell myself that I have forgot the truth and have fallen for the same old trick that had cost me so many opportunities to be loving in the past. The horror of this realization is often all that is necessary to bring me back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense I was thinking.
I still have a lot to learn about love, but at least I’m making progress.
Love and blessings
Your brother

I get no personal satisfaction from the faults of others. There have been times when I have needed to tell someone that I thought their behavior was wrong and they were headed in a dangerous direction, but that's never a happy situation. Even when it goes well, it's hard to do.
Jesus is the only perfect example. The ONLY one.
I believe it is a process. And I believe that grace and obedience are a matter of balance. I can never be perfectly obedient, so I need grace. Yet, as Paul said, I cannot sin more in order to get more grace. My obedience is required. It is the fruit of the Spirit and the fruit of repentance.
I can never save myself, no matter what I do. But that doesn't mean that I can do whatever I want and give Christianity a bad name. I have a responsibility to live as closely to Christ as I can, and depend on Him to help me and to forgive me when I fail.

You have to remember that All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We are human and we are not perfect. Jesus was the only perfect human being and we must strive to live the life that He lived and that He wants us to live.
God bless!! And yes, other people are watching and ready to say "Ah ha. There goes that Christian girl sinning."

I just try everyday to live as God wants me to live and to follow the Bible. I know I am not perfect, if I were I wouldn't be here on Earth. I just try to show love, respect and kindness to all that I encounter, and when the opportunity arises that someone may want to know God, I share whatever I can.

A good Christian is a person who instead of wasting his money on a computer, will give whatever he has extra to the poor. I'm not a Christian, I own a computer. There are not many sincere Christians around, most fall under the category PRETENDER.

To me a Real Christian is one,
*Who have patience to listen to the Problem of others who wants to share their Feelings with you.
* In what ever the way he tries to help them to show and give the LOVE he has received from God.
* Keep them in his Prayers to seek God's Blessings for them.
Is the REAL CHRIATIAN.

The basic problem is the label--"Christian"--some people who wear that label thinks it automatically separates them from the rest of mankind--that egotistical belief then prevents them from hearing Christ's teachings that we are not separate--Christ continually taught that we are not separate-"-ye are the light of the world"--"whatever you do to the least among you--you do to me"--the Kingdom of God is within you"--etc--So---a good "Christian"--is one who treats everyone as they themselves would like to be treated.
