Tell him you need proof, he goes first.
(between this and the myspace thing you really do need some new friends!)

Well, unless you have total faith, (which I doubt you do) I would not attempt this foolish act. Jesus walked on water, healed the sick, raised the dead- because His faith allowed it. Moses faith, led the Israelites out of slavery and parted the sea. So, if you have the faith of Jesus and Moses- go oahead, and put your hand in that blender. But i dont think you would beon yahoo answers, asking such a silly question, if you had the wisdom and understanding that goes along with the faith of man that fears and knows God; the way these men did.

Matthew 4 6:8
6"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written:
" 'He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone."
7Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
So, I would go with the "do not put the Lord your God to the test" part of it, and keep your hand out of the blender.

Did you hear about the guy in the Ukraine who said the same thing right before climbing into the lions' area at the zoo? Well, the lions ate him, enough said.

Ditch your friend!
That isn't faith! That's testing God - and because of that, he won't stop the blender!

Plenty of people have tried things like that and no matter how religious they were they still got hurt and/or killed. Don't do it and get a new friend.

I think you should....wait for it.....THINK!
And I'm sure kids wouldn't have higher rates of food poisoning a century ago if we just avoided milk pasteurization and "prayed" over the dinner table.
Sure, that would do it....Not!

Don't do it, and never speak to that doofus again.
I really hope that no one really ever has to find out whether their deity exists or not, the hard way.

HI
Get prozac and don't listen to the voices in your head or outside that tell you to hurt yourself.

A true friend would'nt ask you to do something he wouldn't do. Say to him, "you first".
Like Jesus told Satan, "It is written, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God".
