do you feel sorry for them and change your "evil ways" or does it just annoy you and make you want to target them in the future?

Makes me want to hit them upside the head with my perspective stick. Everyone who can get onto YA and post is better off than the vast majority of the world--we're inside, have electricity, have at least relatively free internet access, and can post mostly what we want.

The feeling of being persecuted has been expressed by regulars from all beliefs on here. It doesn't annoy me or make me want to strike back. It does prompt me to try and be respectful in my answers to those who disagree with my beliefs. But it also doesn't keep me from expressing my beliefs honestly. I thought that's why we are all here. Some people will be offended no matter what is said. That's life.

Oh, absolutely it annoys me, particularly when they suggest changing US laws that are pretty damn clear about Congress making NO LAW respecting AN ESTABLISHMENT of religion.

"Should we make laws Christian?"

No, you shouldn't. You shouldn't make them Jewish, Muslim, Pagan, Buddhist, Hindu, Wiccan, Scientologist, Zoroastrian, Jainist, Shinto, Asatru, Atheist, or Agnostic, either. Federal or state advocacy of ANY belief system above another is horrifying, and advocates the very persecution our friend there seems convinced that he's a victim of.

Unbelievable.

What I'd like to tell them and what I do tell them are two different things .... I can't say what I'd like to tell them on this forum it's a violation to use words like that here :)

But what I do say is that they need to click the X at the top corner of the screen and all this persecution will go away :)

If enduring some negative comments on this site is the most persecuted someone feels, I would consider them lucky.

If someone's complaints are legitimate, I'll listen and act accordingly if necessary. My suggestion to them, though, would be to leave if it bothers them that much - it isn't worth it.

I understand their perception, but I struggle with not getting mad at them, honestly. I usually don't poke at people overtly, but apparently my very existence is a challenge to many people, along with my philosophy/beliefs... which I cannot change, nor do I wish to. I can't help change other people's minds and/or contracting around their sense of ego, I can only defend those who are REALLY persecuted.

Acid... yeah but you're such a CUTE snark.

I can't say it makes me want to "target" them, but I certainly remember them and avoid their questions...I would rather have the chance to debate someone on an intelligent level without having to be accused of making a victim of them...

Several atheists were targeted for deletion and no Christians have been. That is a reasonable grounds for feeling persecuted.

I just ignore them.

Put it in perspective and do what you do best. Pose the questions that they need to answer for themselves.

If I feel I am persecuted I am quite able to defend myself, myself. I don't wine about it. I tackle it!!!!!!!

No one is persecuted on here!!!Infants.

Peace!

I try not to persecute anyone. When people are whining about their religion being persecuted I usually just excuse myself and go roll my eyes.
