other than Fly fishing, lightweight spinning gear, works well. 4 to 6 lb. test line with, small (1/16 to 1/8 oz.) inline spinner baits like rooster tails, works well. salmon eggs are a longtime favorite and, berkely has a new gulp bait for trout, crickets work, as well.

Berkley's "Power Bait", works pretty well, along with meal and red worms, salmon eggs, spinners (Panther Martin, Rooster Tail, Blue Fox, Mepps ta' name a few), also Kastmasters annnnnnnnd the old time favorite nightcrawlers.

use a woolybugger for trout and bass....poppers work good to...also at times your best bet would be live bait worms are good crickets, grasshoppers, crushed snails (the mussel part), and flies work real and artificial... and i've been testing lures and baits for fishing and i've been thinking about trying popcorn and scent

just went trout fishing yesterday. landed a big one on fluorescent salmon eggs. small spinners work really well also. you also can try minnows, and worms.

Hey, save a worm & use a fly instead. Ok it's hard work, but in the end you will throughly enjoy your fishing experience more.
