You're going to have to have a nice conversation and ask him. As you can see from the above answers, it means all kinds of things.
Did he break up with you and say "you're too complicated?" Maybe things got too serious for him (aka he's afraid of commitment).
Will he not date you because "you're too complicated?" There are a thousand things that could mean. Maybe you want different things than him. Maybe it's an excuse.
Did he say this in an argument? Then maybe he had no idea why you were fighting or you thew him a curveball he couldn't recover from.
My point . . . too many maybes. It only means what he meant it to mean. Ask him. And if he's not willing to explain, find someone who can communicate with you better.

Maybe you make more of a deal out of things than he prefers. Perhaps he likes the "get up and go" type--the type that doesn't wear too much make up, make a fuss about things, and can go along with sports, camping, or whatever...just going with the flow.
I've had guy friends complain about women being too picky or who nag too much, or with too many mood swings.
But each guy probably means something different by "complicated." Maybe the above doesn't describe you at all. Maybe he just means that someone with strong values/ethics is too complicated because he wants an easy, casual, sexual relationship with not a lot of communication and closeness.

The would genuinely prefer to assert 'you're pleasing' or 'you're very exceedingly' yet he's often very shy and extremely say 'you're lovable' because he would properly be frightened of rejection if he throws round compliments so easily. on the different band he would say 'you're lovable' because of a particular way you smiled or some thing about your eyes that made his heart flutter and his head spin at the same time as jointly despatched a flood of blood rushing through his pants. So he says 'your lovable' at the same time as he extremely needs to assert 'you're so damn warm!!!!!'

Maybe he means you aren't making any sense. My girl does that sometimes. Like stressing out WAY too much over small things or things that shouldn't even matter. I learned to ignore it since there's pretty much nothing that can be done but let it runs it's course.
He probably doesn't know that yet.

Maybe you aren't straight forward about things. Maybe you play games(I don't know ). Maybe you're getting too serious for him and he's trying to find a way to back away a little.

He means that maybe sometime you get a little "too out of hand" when you're around him. Basically, tone it down a LITTLE and don't be as crazy when you're around him!

That means he doesn't GET you at all. The more complex the issue is, or the answer for that matter, the more confused he gets.
Maybe you need to find someone with a higher IQ! lol
No,.... actually, maybe you need to look for someone who DOES GET you!!!!

It just means that you have too many crazy things going on in your life that he doesn't want to deal with.

He's looking for an easy "score" and doesn't want to put any effort into a relationship. Move on.
